Not wanting his children to be "trust fund kids," late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman rejected his accountant's suggestion to leave them money. The Academy Award winner passed away back in February, leaving behind three children, ages 10, 7 and 5.

Court documents reveal that he wanted his estimated $35 million fortune to go to his longtime partner and the mother of his children, Mimi O'Donnell. Though they were not married, he wanted to leave her money, as if she were legally his spouse.
