Postmenopausal Woman Gives Birth to Own Grandson

You might think that your baby-making days are behind you after menopause, but thanks to the wonders of modern science, it is possible…witness Kristine Casey, a 61-year-old retiree who assumed her childbearing years were decades behind her until her daughter had difficulty having a baby. Casey, who was 10 years past menopause when she offered to be the surrogate, gave birth to grandson Finnean via cesarean section last Wednesday.
