Year in Review: 11 Designer Collaborations that Almost Made Us Broke This Year

What an amazing year it's been for collaborative awesomeness. Tons of our favorite brands and designers teamed up in 2011 to create all kinds of goodies. From designer strollers and baby carriers to adorable clothes and shoes, here's a look back at the best designer collaborations for moms in 2011.

Missoni & Target. If you ask me, this was by far the biggest collaboration of the year. Heck, it was so popular it shut down Target's website. Shut. It. Down. The collection sold out--both online and in stores--within hours, but we've got good news. Target.com recently restocked so you can still order a few items here. Just search "missoni for target."

Jonathan Adler & Skip Hop. Holy diaper bag magic. As if we could love Skip Hop any more, they went and teamed up with designer Jonathan Adler to created a limited-edition collection of cool, mod baby bags. You can still score one for yourself here.

Missoni & Bugaboo. Talk about pimp my ride. Countless celebrity babies--from Rachel Zoe's baby boy to Mel B.s' baby girl--were spotted riding around in colorful Missoni Bugaboo strollers this year. While the price tag was pretty steep, we have to say these strollers were leaps and bounds better than the awful Juicy Couture Maclaren buggies.

Hello Kitty & Vans. Hello Kitty was everywhere this year, but their collab with Vans sneakers was one of our faves. Available for little girls and women, these kicks were the epitome of cute. And the good news is, they're still available. Shop the collection here.

Disney It's a Small World & Nordstrom. In honor of the 45th anniversary of Disneyland's famous It's a Small World ride, they collaborated with Nordstrom for a collection of cute baby clothes, baby shoes and diaper bags. Everything in the limited-edition collection is adorable, and some of them even give back. There are still plenty of TOMS, Trumpette baby socks and Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bags. Get them here.

Petunia Pickle Bottom & ERGObaby. Gone are the days of boring ol' baby carriers. This year babywearing mamas rejoiced when beloved diaper bag brand Petunia Pickle Bottom announced they were lending their signature prints to ERGObaby's famous (and also beloved) baby carriers. Treat yourself to one here.

Tea Collection & weeDECOR. Fans of Tea Collection's gorgeous children's clothes were no doubt thrilled when weeDECOR introduced a small collection of wall decals inspired by the popular prints on the clothing. Even better, the decals start at just $12! Check out the designs here.

Appaman & Target. This was another collaboration that did some good this year. It was the final installment of Baby Buggy's partnership with Target and 10% of the proceeds benefited Jessica Seinfeld's charity, which donates clothing and supplies to families in need.

Hello Kitty & BabyLegs. Hello Kitty leg warmers? Yes, please! We're not the only moms who fell in love, though. Tori Spelling's daughter, Stella, has been snapped wearing hers twice!

Harajuku Mini & Target. It took a while, but super stylish mom Gwen Stefani finally launched some cool, rocker-chic duds for kids this year. Her Harajuku Mini line arrived at Target in November and sold out shortly thereafter online. If you're lucky, you can still find a few pieces in your local Target store.

Diane von Furstenberg & Gap Kids. Okay, this one hasn't actually arrived yet, but it was confirmed back in June so we just had to include it. The line is slated to arrive in the spring of 2012 so keep your eyes peeled.
