Viral Video: Baby Swims Better Than Most Adults

Baby Elizabeth may not know how to speak quite yet, but she definitely knows how to swim. This barely two-year-old child is making a splash (literally) on YouTube for her amazing swimming abilities. The video, which clocks in at just a minute long and has garnered almost 70,000 views, captures Elizabeth swimming back and forth in what seems to be a neighborhood pool as someone in the background encourages her to "go, go, go." And go she does. The baby makes it across the pool in just one breath. And when she gets tired or distressed? Well she simply rolls on her back and takes a breather like any trained swimmer would. The video has some parents at the edge of their seats (or pool deck, in the case), questioning the safety of letting the baby swim on her own. But according to CNN, Elizabeth's father claims she was taught by professional instructors and is therefore not in danger. In addition, one of her parents is a nurse and the other is a trained lifeguard with CPR certification. While it's uncertain if baby Elizabeth will make an Olympic debut in the near future, we know one thing for sure - her parents won't be investing in floaties and kiddie pools any time soon.
