Remember the Walkman? Kids Today Have Never Heard of It

As our technology evolves more and more rapidly, some gadgets find themselves collecting dust in the basement. The video series, "Kids React," has elementary and middle school-aged kids checking out stuff from before they were born. In the most recent episode, the kids are handed a Walkman and tasked with trying to figure out what it is. Unsurprisingly, the iPad generation is totally mystified by the machine, but one eventually figures out that there's a "play" button.

Below, a couple of the most hilarious kid quotes from the video:

"Ooh, a phone! Oh, wait, what is this thing?" said one very disappointed kid. Another just poked the Walkman repeatedly, waiting for it to do something.

"You gotta be kidding me," said one boy, when told that the device could, in fact, play music.

"I feel so judged right now," said one girl, who hasn't gotten to the 'what irony is' section of her textbook yet.

Once the kids find out what a Walkman is, they're handed cassettes to play in them. "Are these like in the movies?" one asks.

"I feel like I'm Indiana Jones or something!" one exclaims as she finally figures out how to get the Walkman open and the cassette in.

"This is, like, horrible," one girl says.

You know what else is, like, horrible? Feeling like a fossil, which is how anyone over the age of fifteen probably feels while watching this video.
