What's the Best Age to Have a Baby?

By Shira Scott, GalTime.com

I had my first child at the age of 25 and was hauling around three little ones by the age of 30... but times have certainly changed. College-educated women are now waiting longer to become moms than those without a college education.

In 2000, 42% of college-educated women, 25 to 34 years-of-age, had children.

A decade later, about 76% of that same group of women, now 35-44, had kids.

On the other hand, women 25-34 who do not finish high school are having children earlier.

In 2000, about 83% of them were mothers. In 2010, that number hit 88%.

What do you think is the perfect age to have children?
