Aries (March 21 - April 19) If you think it's hard adjusting to regular chow, wait until you face the weekend is over. Start practicing now. Tell yourself, I can do this, I can do this.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20) All you know is that your humans had travel plans. You can and should pine away all weekend, but if it's any consolation, the doggy bag will be immense.
Gemini (May 21 - June 21) Not sure if you can get away with the same meals you've gotten used to? Go ahead; do some begging. It's the only way to find out, and it certainly can't hurt to try.
Cancer (June 22 - July 22) Home with you for three whole days, fattening you up with big meals -- now this is your idea of a balanced schedule. Your human calls it a three day weekend, but they may need to deal with a little something come Monday, so don't get used to it.
Leo (July 23 - August 22) You should recognize the pattern by now. First come the big meals, then come the pledges of a new health and fitness routine. As long as you're involved with both, enjoy them while they last.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22) You've gotten your begging down to a science. All of your hard work and practice has really paid off. Or has it all had nothing to do with your level of skill? You'll find out today.
Libra (September 23 - October 22) Things around the doghouse are not balanced. That's life with humans. You can't have intense good feelings without having some intense down ones. At least there are still leftovers.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 21) It's time to change gears -- on many levels. Oddly, what worked in the past is not working today. You need self control to get the goods, not wild abandon. Reign in your own begging.
Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21) It's easy to make your own lunch with all the leftovers around. But don't. Unless you want to spend the rest of the day in the literal and proverbial doghouse, it's paws off.
Capricorn (December 22 - January 19) You win points for stamina if nothing else. Your begging is wearing even you out. But with less and less to offer, you have to work harder and harder each day to achieve the same amount of table scraps. Let it go for another day.
Aquarius (January 20 - February 18) They don't call it dog tired for nothing. Face it, the week's been a whirlwind. Don't try and fight it, even for the sake of appearances. This guard dog needs a well-deserved rest.
