Nude Polish with Silver Glitter Neutral polish is always sophisticated, but the hit of glitter at the nail beds is exciting, and plays up your engagement ring's sparkle. Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Shell We Dance is nude with a hint of pink for a feminine twist. To get a fade effect like the one seen here, use a glitter that has a mix of fine and chunky silver glitter, and make sure the formula is based in a clear nail polish, advises Tracylee. "For this effect, it's best to wipe off most of the clear coat from one side of the brush, leaving the other side full of the glitter flakes, she adds. "In a dabbing motion, apply the glitter, starting at the tip of the nail (applying from side to side) and working your way down toward the cuticle. Stop approximately half way down the nail. Remember the glitter needs to get sparser, the further down the nail you go. Repeat this process in a second coat (or third coat if needed) to fill in more at the tip. Apply top coat to seal.
