How '90s Supermodels Conquered the Fashion Industry

Famous models like Gisele Bündchen and Adriana Lima may be top earners today, but there's a reason many of the iconic '90s supermodels have never gone away: they're still the best. At 44 years old Christy Turlington has recently returned to Calvin Klein for a new underwear ad 25 years after she first posed for the brand. She's also the face of the fall Prada campaign and a recent Jason Wu campaign. The ever-present Kate Moss, is still shilling for Versace, Stuart Weitzman, Rimmel London, Vogue Eyewear, and Liu-Jo, taking home millions every year. She's set to pose for Playboy's 60th anniversary issue next January, just in time for her 40th birthday. Naomi Campbell, 43, still graces magazine covers, fashion ads, and catwalks while starring on the reality show modeling competition "The Face." Stephanie Seymour, 45, was the face of Jason Wu's spring campaign and looked better than girls half her age. Linda Evangelista, 48, posed for her pal Karl Lagerfeld in a Chanel eyewear campaign last year. Amber Valletta, 39, still models for brands like Emilio Pucci and Tiffany & Co. while acting in movies and ABC's "Revenge." These six famous faces join 29-year-old Daria Werbowy--star of the fall campaigns for top brands like Celine and Isabel Marant--on seven different covers of Interview magazine's Model Issue. Each lady unveils how they got started in the biz, the biggest misconceptions, and why they're still household names. To avoid buying seven issues, check out the juiciest bits here.
