Once news broke that Whitney Port was engaged, we immediately wondered what kind of wedding dress she'd choose. After all, the former reality-star-turned fashion designer is known for her inherently cool, California style. Luckily, we're one step closer to knowing what the bride-to-be will walk down the aisle wearing because Port is dishing some major details.
The Whitney Eve designer has kept relatively mum about her upcoming nuptials to fiancé Tim Rosenman, but the star is sharing a few hints about her wedding day look exclusively with Brides. Port chose her 10 favorite wedding dresses (well, one isn't exactly a dress!) from the Spring 2015 collections, and it's safe to assume the star will not be saying, "I do" in something traditional.
"I haven't chosen my dress yet, so it gave me a lot of inspiration," Port tells us of scouring our Bridal Fashion week slideshows in search of her favorite finds.
The star hasn't locked down a look yet because she isn't sure of where she's tying the knot. (And every smart, stylish bride knows the dress should reflect the venue!) Though, she does note it will be a destination wedding somewhere in the U.S.
Port also reveals that she's rethinking her original plan of designing her own dress. "I'm not 100 percent sure [if I'm still going to do that]. I have a friend who is a designer that's willing to work with me," she says. "But he also has so many beautiful gowns that he designed, which are already made."
One thing the she is absolutely sure about? What her gown won't look like. "I tried on some dresses that I never thought I'd want - like a big cupcake dress - for fun at Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier in New York City. And I was so right - I put it on and it felt so not like me," she explains. "I want something non-traditional that's still comfortable, delicate, and pretty. But I do want to step outside of the regular bridal box."
And judging by the wedding-day looks Whitney loves from the designers' new collections, she definitely will wear something stunning, but totally unexpected. From a sheer, sequin Houghton slip dress and a '60s-inspired Temperley Bridal number with a high-low hemline (Port did call long gowns "overrated!") to a white Oscar de la Renta bikini, she picked 10 wedding looks that only a trendsetter like the star herself could rock. Perhaps, she might actually choose one of these for her big day? We'll have to wait and see!
Find out Whitney's 10 favorite wedding dresses from Bridal Fashion Week and why she loves them by clicking through the whole slideshow. (Plus, stay tuned for part two of our interview with the star - she reveals even more details about her upcoming wedding!)

More and more brides are saying "So long!" to formal wedding updos -- like the classic bun -- in favor of a no-hassle, undone wedding look. If you're opting for one of these softer styles on your big day, try a slightly-tousled chignon or a barely-pulled-together braid, and then add fresh flowers or a boho-inspired headband. The finished look is organic but still elegant. Perfect for spring and summer weddings, here are our favorite romantic, undone hairstyles.

Somewhere out there in Victoria Beckham Land, the designer could very well be commemorating her 40th birthday at a swanky restaurant as we speak. Or maybe she's celebrating at home, enjoying some quality time with her ab-tastic hubbie and abnormally beautiful children? Unfortunately, we can't say for sure what V-Becks is doing for her big 4-0, but we're willing to guess this much: she's probably doing it in some precariously high stilettos. We wouldn't rule out the possibly of a fitted sheath dress, either.
That's because if there's one thing about Mrs. David Beckham's life that isn't an enigma, it's her personal style. Posh has got the uniform dressing thing down to an art; not only has she built an entire public persona around what she wears, but she's also looked amazing every step of the way. Fortunately, the formula for her iconic look is not limited to fashion world royalty, nor is it hard to follow. We've broken it down to seven simple steps-click through the slideshow above to get started now.

A recent topic that has the Cut office divided: Are skinny jeans on their way out? The slim silhouette - made popular by male rock stars, Hedi Slimane, and Kate Moss - has arguably hit a tipping point.
But no matter where you stand on skinny jeans, the '90s are undeniably back, and with them a relaxed, non-stretch denim silhouette (to wear with your white sneakers or pool slides).
Scott Morrison, founder and designer of 3x1, explains: "There's something extremely sexy about a woman who wears non-skinny jeans. In my lifetime, the classic definition of a 'gorgeous girl in jeans' was Brooke Shields, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, and Christy Turlington; all of [whom] wore classic 100 percent cotton or comfort-stretch denims in the '90s and most of 2000s. Straight legs, flares, and boyfriend jeans made from non-superstretch denims are all a bit looser than the modern skinny because they have to be, in order to fit correctly."
Skinny-jean zealots will surely bemoan the demise of their second skin, but a loosened-up style of jean can actually be perfect for the warmer months. Click through the slideshow below to see 12 pairs of relaxed denim for spring, from "cool-mom" jeans to "girlfriend" silhouettes.

- Thu, Apr 17, 2014 6:39 PM EDT | CommentsBy: Ivy Jacobson for TheKnot.com There's just no other way to put this: Jenny McCarthy's engagement ring is pretty darn spectacular. The View cohost announced her engagement to actor Donnie Wahlberg on the show yesterday, and said that her son, Evan, was involved in helping Donnie propose by carrying the ring to her. However, it's a wonder that he didn't drop it, since the massive yellow sapphire sparkler clocks in at over 10 carats!
"The band is 18-karat white gold although you can't see the band because it's covered with diamonds. We did a custom basket for the sapphire. There is a row of diamonds around the center and from the side view there is a custom made gallery of diamonds," says the ring's designer, Daniel Arik, to E!.

The French manicure is back-and it's looking cooler than ever. But instead of sticking with classic white tips (yawn), why not try a bright, unexpected color for spring, like pastel pink or baby blue? The best part is that if you're as obsessed with all those pretty spring nail polishes as we are, this updated French mani won't limit you to just one color. In the tutorial above, our friends at Beverly Hills nail salon Olive & June incorporate both pink and blue hues in a "double Frenchie" nail art look. We love that it's sophisticated enough for Easter dinner, but still trendy and cute enough for a night out.
Plus, you'll be amazed at how simple it is to DIY this style. Click through above for a step-by-step guide Olive & June created just for Lucky readers, and check out their Instagram for more inspiration!

If you're anything like us, you've got a drawer filled with favorite swimwear from seasons past, ranging anywhere from tie-dyed tops to color blocked bottoms. Well, get this: Those patterned pieces can play a major part in helping you stand out from the crowd this season...in a whole new way. Instead of wearing one straight-from-the-store bikini, we're all about mixing and matching different tops and bottoms to create a unique-to-you look. Not super confident in your print-pairing? Create a cool connection by choosing a common color way or motif.
For example, the micro-print on a Basta Surf top is the perfect pint-size match for bold sea foam green stripes from Target. Tropical florals in varying colors from Pret-a-Surf and Rosa Swim show how to double up on one design, as do spotty separates from Guess and BCA. Of course, we wouldn't expect you to take our word for it-click through to see our favorite 10 bikini pairings for yourself!
