Take Your Cue from Peru: 7 Reasons Why Llamas Make the Best Therapy Animals

Llamas are awesome, in case you didn't know. And after living across the street from a bunch of them for a while (it was Texas, these things happen), I'm more than a little obsessed with them. So it was with much squee that I learned from the website Jezebel that there are therapy llamas. Because obviously, who doesn't want to pet a llama? No one, that's who. There's a video of a llama and an alpaca visiting people and generally making Portland, Oregon even more awesome than it already was. One of the best parts of the video is them coming out of an elevator. How stoked would you be to get on an elevator and find a couple of super-fluffy, 200-lb. Peruvian animals? It would be the best day at work ever. Still not sure? Here are 7 darn good reasons llamas make the best therapy animals. Please note that the llamas in these photos are not, technically, Therapy Llamas. They're just llamas who are therapeutic by their very nature. -By Joslyn Gray
