Stained Glass Cookies Ingredients: 2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 large egg, 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon almond extract, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, 3 cups flour, 3/4 teaspoon baking powder, several Jolly Rancher candies, cut into 1/4″ pieces Directions: 1. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in egg and beat until well incorporated. Add vanilla and almond extract. Beat until smooth. On a floured surface, roll dough to 1/8 inch thick. Cut into shapes and place on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Use a smaller cookie cutter to cut a shape in the center of the cookie.
