The supermodel mums show up to the school drop off/pick-ups looking so annoyingly "model chic" that regular ol' mums are trying to compete -- two thirds claim they wake up early to "dress up" solely for child drop off. Crikey.

The British supermarket giant Sainsuburys polled women to find out how much time and effort they are investing into perfecting their "first day back to school" look and found that one in six will try a trendy new hairdo. The survey also found that the average woman will spend up to 25 minutes doing her hair and makeup in preparation for the important day.

The "Daily Mail" is calling it "The Elle Effect." I'm calling it the "You moms must be trippin'"-effect. I know I don't have any kiddos to bathe, dress, and feed before 7 a.m., but I do know some super sneaky ways to look pretty in 5 minutes flat.
