This Is What Equal Love Looks like All Around the World

Straight couples aren't the only people who fall in love, and a New York-based photographer hopes to show the world that the affection between two men and two women is just as beautiful.

Braden Summers' photo series "All Love is Equal" features gay and lesbian couples sharing an intimate moment in different cities all across the globe. The photographer traveled the world for six weeks, visiting the UK, France, India, Lebanon, Brazil and the US, using both real-life couples and models to present romantic imagery many don't often get to see.

"When thinking of iconic romance, ask yourself if any imagery (paintings, photographs, film-stills) comes to mind that is not showing heterosexual couples? Probably not," he writes on his website. "I would like to use this work as a platform to discuss what that is and how to change it."
