EXCLUSIVE: Armani Explores Neutral Ground with a Limited-Edition Nude Collection—And We've Got the Sketches!

by Elana Fishman

Nobody knows the quiet power of a good neutral quite like Giorgio Armani, whose tailored, classic pieces are made for effortless mixing and matching. Now, following the critical and commercial success of his entirely nude-colored Armani Privé fall collection, the designer's releasing a complementary ready-to-wear capsule, appropriately called Giorgio Armani Nude. Available starting this month at the brand's NYC stores as well as at Bergdorf Goodman, the collection includes sleek pantsuits, swingy bell coats, cocktail dresses and buttery suede stilettos-all rendered in soft, rosy beige.

"This special project is my tribute to New York, a city that has a unique energy that never fails to inspire and stimulate me," said Armani. "I wanted to condense my 'Nude' Privè collection into a wardrobe. To me its sensual purity seems perfect for the style of women in New York-they're always so sophisticated, feminine and seductive."
