Give it a Good Scrub: 7 Best Exfoliants for Face, Neck, and Body

One of the best and most important ways to rejuvenate your skin is to exfoliate 1 to 3 times a week. When you exfoliate, you remove dead, dull skin, which reveals a layer of new, healthier, and brighter skin. There are many types of exfoliants out there, so how does one know what to use for their skin type? Basically, there are two types of exfoliants to choose from: a physical exfoliant (where you can feel the exfoliant manually scrubbing off the dead skin or by using a rotary brush) and a chemical exfoliant (acids or enzymes). I have found that if you are prone to break outs, a physical scrub can irritate the skin, so it would be best to stick with a chemical exfoliant. I personally rotate both types of exfoliants in my skincare regimen. To enhance exfoliation at home, I especially love using my Clariosnic brush because I like knowing that I am sloughing away all of those dead skin cells right then and there. I look forward to getting pampered with a great enzyme facial several times a year because my skin looks radiant for days.
