Work Out like a Parisian

Julie Bramowitz

During the flurry of consecutive Fashion Weeks, even the most devoted fitness enthusiast may find it hard to fit in a workout. The mad dash between shows, store openings, after-parties, and deadlines is likely the closest you'll come all month to a seven-minute cardio session. Factor in a steady diet of late-night dinners and champagne, and by the time you reach Paris, you may find yourself craving the stress-relieving, body-sculpting boost of a good workout. This season, why not take a cue from the French, who skip the treadmills and calorie-counting bracelets and instead seek out their exercise en plein air. From Art Deco pools to rowboat-dotted lakes, the city abounds with scenic spots that make it significantly easier to find the will-and the way-to squeeze in a quick fitness session amidst a packed schedule. Here are six of Vogue.com's favorites to check out this week.
