Photo by: Photographed by The Coveteur Chloe Malle, Vogue Social Editor- Where I go: I escape to my stepfather’s house in East Hampton as often as possible. I like waking up early in the morning and biking over to the Amagansett Farmer’s Market, then biking home to read the paper and play Boggle with my mom. Half of my family lives in France so I usually take a week or two in July to visit them in the Dordogne Valley. What I pack: My typical travel route is the much maligned Hampton Jitney. I wear these watermelon Repetto ballet slippers a lot, because they’re easy to slip on and off. The neon color is great because I tend to fall asleep during the drive and wake up startled right as we’re pulling into the East Hampton stop, but these are bright enough for me to spot them quickly under the seat in front of me. This African print bikini by Roberta Freymann is fabulous: Roberta gets the traditional West African patterns in Mali and then has the bathing suits made in Argentina. I love a bikini that holds its ground during a serious game of Kadima on the beach. I wear my Sigerson Morrison navy sandals at least three times a weekâ€"so many of my summer dresses have navy accents, that these sandals ended up becoming a staple by accident. And I love my Comme des Garçons wallet so much that I am actually considering buying another one just in case they stop making them and this one falls apart.
