Phillip Lim Reveals Target Collab and It's Better Than You Can Imagine

Designer Phillip Lim officially debuted his fall 2013 Target collaboration and Yahoo! Shine was lucky enough to get a sneak peak. “One of the reasons I wanted to collaborate with Target is because I felt that together we could create a collection that would inspire – one that is cool and chic, but still very accessible," Lim said in a statement. The apparel and accessories range from $19.99 to $299.99, catering to the most stylish guys and gals on a budget. The color palette is simple, with navy blue, gray, black and white dominating, but splashes of emerald green, animal print, and "boom" cartoon designs add the perfect amount of pop to a chic and sophisticated collection. And if you're confused about when to wear each article of clothing, Lim tactfully categorized the line in morning, noon,  and night wardrobes. Phillip Lim for Target will be available in most Target stores on Sept. 15. Other pieces will be sold exclusively on Target.com. Top three things we love: the blue/brown camo print, the Pashili mini satchel lookalike ($34.99 instead of $650 — what!?), and the fitted tuxedo designs for both ladies and lads. The one (and only) thing we don't like: The amazing shoes in the lookbook are by 3.1 Phillip Lim ($395). Missoni for Target did well, but we're falling for Phillip Lim's collab — literally. –– Erika Ostroff, Shine Staff
