PHOTOS: Cameron Diaz's Chic New Footwear Line for Pour La Victoire

Cameron Diaz is certainly keeping busy: there's her female-focused health and lifestyle tome, The Body Book, not to mention a few upcoming blockbusters currently in post-production, an Annie reboot among them. But the actress has one more thing in the pipeline for 2014, and it's a rather surprising venture-a new shoe line for luxury accessory brand Pour La Victoire. Now Cameron, who was named artistic director of the label's parent company PLV Studio last summer, is gradually learning how to take on a challenging new industry.

"In the movie business, things move quickly, too, even more so over the years. We're used to approving marketing materials before we've finished filming," Cameron recently told Footwear News in an exclusive interview. "But in fashion, you have pre-fall, fall, holiday. You have all these little mini collections that you have to do. I can't keep track of it. It's literally not my language. But I'm trying to learn it. They are teaching me and I'm learning from them, and they are learning from me."

As WWD reports, Cameron has planned to focus on and "pare down" Pour La Victoire's footwear and handbag collection (which currently lives at the $250-$500 price point) since she took the reigns at PLV some six months ago. "When I first came to PLV, I saw the potential in it because it was a brand that didn't really have its own identity. It was a little bit all over the place," Cameron said. "I looked at it as an opportunity to help create that."
