PHOTOS: Your First Look at Ralph Lauren's Team USA Opening Ceremony Uniforms

by Maura Brannigan

With the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics a mere two weeks away, the time has finally come for Ralph Lauren to reveal its patriotic Opening Ceremony uniforms in all their festive, knitted glory. Members of the U.S. Olympic Team appeared on the TODAY Show this morning to debut their new, star-studded garb, which has been entirely made in the USA.

With multiple preppy pieces ranging from a heavy patchwork cardigan to black leather boots and a cream turtleneck sweater to a reindeer hat, this collection marks the fourth time Ralph Lauren has been the official outfitter of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic teams-however, it's worth noting that this is the first time the label's uniforms has been produced entirely domestically. Despite the line's fairly expensive prices (pieces range from $95-$795), 100 percent of proceeds from the collection's signature item-the Team USA Ceremony Cardigan-will be donated to the U.S. Olympic Committee, the organization that directs all Olympic involvement for Team USA.

And in addition to creating these Opening Ceremony looks, Ralph Lauren will also be providing Team USA's villagewear and accessories, which include polos, pullovers, tees and sweatshirts, also available for purchase at RalphLauren.com.

Click through above now to peep Ralph Lauren's full Opening Ceremony collection-and to shop it, too, while you're at it-and don't miss the uniforms in action when they make their Olympics debut during the Opening Ceremony, airing on February 7.
