These makeup-bag staples aren't one-hit wonders. "A warm, rosy lipstick looks great on cheeks, and even eyes," says makeup artist Troy Surratt. "Applied all over, it creates a soft, harmonious look." After you've swiped the hue on your mouth, finger-pat it along your cheekbones and very lightly on your lids. Then try this mascara tip: Wet a pointy eyeliner brush, dip it in your mascara, and presto: "You've got a black liquid eyeliner," says Surratt.
