Retirement Community Celebrates the Movies with Adorable Calendar

Living in a retirement community can be a lot of fun - you play Bingo as much as you please, you meet lots of interesting people, and if you're a resident at the Contilia Retirement Group in Essen, Germany, you get the chance to pretend you're James Bond or Mary Poppins without being asked if you've taken your pills.

Residents at the German facility posed for a calendar celebrating classic movies from modern cinema. Participants ranged from 75 to 98 years old, and recreated scenes from movies like "Dirty Dancing," "Saturday Night Fever," "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and "Rocky." We especially love Erna Rütt, 86, and Alfred Kelbch, 81, putting their own spin on the "I'm flying!" scene from "Titanic."

Five-thousand calendars were printed and given as gifts to the residents and their families, as well as employees at the facility. We wouldn't be surprised if they print a whole lot more after everyone sees these awesome photos!
