Supermodels Then and Now

Dutch model Lara Stone has been making waves in the fashion industry since 2006, when she walked the runway for Givenchy and Calvin Klein. But she's hit some serious super stardom recently. To date, her career highlights include: gracing the pages of Vogue Paris for a Brigitte Bardot-inspired spread, being named "Fashion's It Girl" by W magazine, opening and closing big runway shows like Isabel Marant, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, and Stella McCartney, and posing for ads by Prada, Givenchy, H&M, CK, and Jil Sander, among others. To no one's surprise, she's now one of the highest paid models in the industry, and as the new face of L'Oreal, Stone is really blowing up. With her gap-toothed smile, sunken eyes and blonde hair, she's clearly taking over where L'Oreal spokesperson Claudia Schiffer left off. Is there a new crop of supermodels climbing to the top? They may not be as famous as Cindy Crawford or Naomi Campbell yet, but we've rounded up the biggest names in the game who are ready to fill the void of our beloved '90s supermodels.
