Victoria’s Secret Angels Off-Duty: Just like Us (Well, Almost)

The Victoria's Secret runway show is one of the most over-the-top fashion events of the year. It's a frothy spectacle that owes as much to Las Vegas as it does to Paris couture. This week, the multi-billion-dollar lingerie giant chose its new line up of Angels - what the company calls the supermodels who serve as the faces (and bodies) of the brand. It's a coveted job. "Becoming an Angel significantly increases a model's earning potential due to their visibility around the world," Richard Habberley at DNA Model Management, which represents Alessandra Ambrosio, Lindsay Ellingson, and Doutzen Kroes, told Women's Wear Daily. "It changes the girls' careers completely." But you can't wear a feather cape and diamond bra 24/7. Off-duty, these women run errands, play with their kids, and pamper their pets. See, they're just like us! (But much richer, and way more photogenic.) -Sarah B. Weir, Yahoo Shine
