You want to know what Carrie's wearing, and we're telling you everything!

It's time to Carrie on. Forget about what happens to Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big, or if Charlotte loses her mind as a new mom. It's interesting to see Samantha back on the prowl and Miranda trying to trust Steve again. He's a bartender. She can only hope for the best!

The real question when it comes to the much anticipated Sex and the City 2 sequel is simple. What will the ladies be wearing? "The fashion really is another character in the movie," says Sarah Jessica Parker who promises that SATC 2 "won't disappoint on that front." Costume designer Patricia Field has confirmed that white plays a large role in the movie because the action takes place over seven weeks during the summer. "I'm going for a new look and new elements," promises Field.

After all, three out of the four girls are married and they're somewhat settled or unsettled about the traditional roles they've found themselves in. The gang is moving on with their lives when we meet them two years post-Carrie becoming Mrs. Big. What's a girl a little bored with marital bliss to do, but grab three girlfriends and travel for a lush Middle Eastern vacation where she runs into an old boyfriend named Aidan Shaw? Don't worry. He's dropped the turquoise jewelry that he was famous for wearing in the show.

Carrie's must haves

Of course, Carrie hauls out her trademark heels for the Sex sequel because nothing beats running down those New York streets like stilettos. But since the sequel covers ground from Manhattan to Morocco and Monaco, the fab four have as many clothes and shoe changes as you can blink in the span of two plus hours. However, don't look for Manolo, as there was a dust-up between the designer and the production team, so Louboutin, among other designers, stepped in to shoe their pretty feet instead.

Carrie struts down the New York Streets in $800 Brian Atwood Loca heels in light lilac with silver studs. She wears them with powder blue skinny Cavarricci ankle zip jeans (approx $70) and tops it with a light blue, white and black plaid shirt called a Tie Me Up top ($48) on patriciafield.com which has already been sold out in pre-orders! This is just one of her casual outfits.

When she stares lovingly at new hubby John James Preston, Mrs. Big is wearing a short white Halston Heritage dress for $325, the very same one in the poster. She accessorizes it with a $1,500 silver Chanel clutch plus $995 Louboutin Pigalle 85 python heels. Carrie hides out behind Mykita & Bernhard Wilhelm shades. They're limited edition Franz glasses for $525. Add to the ensemble a Solange Azagury-Patridge gemstone necklace (prices upon request).

For another street scene in the Big Apple, Carrie shimmers in a $435 Halston Heritage pleated purple cocktail dress. She "merchandises it up," as Carrie would say, with $170 Jee Vice Heated shades in orange. What goes better with those shades than Louboutin's $865 Gino T-strap heels in black and yellow? Oh, there's also her $285 Jimmy Choo Iola cuff.

For a dressier moment, she actually pulls out the Christian Dior newsprint dress that Carrie wore when she confronted Natasha AKA "the stick figure with no soul" or Mr. Big's second wife, after breaking up the marriage in season three. Recall when an unsettled Carrie walked down the street after seeing Natasha at a restaurant. She pairs the dress with $1,159 Louboutin lace booties.

Flashbacks
The movie also finally reveals how the girls met in the '80s. It's weird to see Carrie in a Flashdance oversized gray sweatshirt with skinny white jeans and $19.94 Chuck Taylor Converse All Stars navy and white low-top sneakers. Yes, her hair is bigger than Big. That was the idea.

Don't forget the glitz
Swarovski crystal also plays a big part in the movie including a gorgeous crystal chandelier in Carrie and Big's closet and on several crystal studded handbags used in the film. The glitz is also on a bedazzled wedding cake. One of the ladies carries a coveted Swarovski Klosque $750 evening bag. In fact, over 800 Swarovski boutiques will be decorating their windows in the style of each of the four ladies when the movie finally opens!
