The 25 most fashionable films of all time

With the new "Sex and the City" sequel around the corner, the Times of London took a moment to reflect on what they felt were truly the most fashionable movies ever. For starters, they had some really good choices. We definitely would have selected "Annie Hall," "Bonnie and Clyde," "Bell de Jour," and "Grey Gardens." And we'd agree that "The Talented Mr. Ripley," "The Matrix," and "The Royal Tenenbaums" were some of the most fashionable movies in recent years. We even think their inclusion of "Zoolander," Ben Stiller's comedy about the male modeling world, is kind of awesome. But "Avatar"? How did that make the list? And sure, "Factory Girl," and "Coco avant Chanel" honor some very stylish women, but those films do not belong amongst the greats.

So many great movies were left off the list! First of all, um... "Breakfast at Tiffany's"? Hello, the original little black dress?! Surely Grace Kelly's character in "Rear Window," as styled by Edith Head, is one of the most fashionable leading ladies. Also noticeably absent was a single film from the 1980s. This decade still influences our style more than ever, so we think "Flashdance," "Pretty in Pink," "Working Girl," or "Desperately Seeking Susan," should have been on the list. Other style favorites of ours include "Pretty Woman," and "Clueless," the classic '90s flick that featured a virtual computer closet to assist in outfit making, and name dropped designers like Azzedine Alaia, Calvin Klein. And let's not forget the fellas! They were well represented in films like "Rebel Without a Cause," "American Gigalo," "Saturday Night Fever," or even the remake of "Ocean's Eleven."

OK, so it's pretty hard picking only 25. Check out the Times of London list and please weigh in on your favorites below! [Times of London]
