The 11 Greatest Hair Color Moments in Film

For my birthday last month, I ate a lot of cake, sang a lot of karaoke, drank a lot of champagne-and dyed my hair purple. The inspiration for the latter was a cartoon character: Shy Violet, the lavender-haired, glasses-wearing character from Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer. I watched that movie incessantly as a child; I didn't understand why I couldn't have purple hair. Twenty-odd years later, I finally do (!), and it got me thinking about all the other bold, fantastical hair colors in movies…perhaps inspiration for next year's birthday?
