4 Shades of Bright, Hot Lips

Out of a sea of nude, nude, and more nude lips at the spring 2013 runway shows, a bright spot appeared in Milan with lips painted in such electric, nearly vibrating pops of color, you'd think they'd shock you if you kissed them. At Prada, Pat McGrath covered the lips entirely with CoverGirl LipPerfection Lip Color in (aptly named) Hot, even drawing just a hint outside the models' lip lines to exaggerate the punch of crimson. At Missoni, Lucia Pieroni created a neon pink by first applying a mix of MAC Pro LipMix in Fuschia, Orange, and White (making a coral) and then layering MAC Pro Pigment (a powder) in Red Electric on top. At Moschino, Tom Pecheux took to a tangerine using MAC Lipstick in Morange and, unlike the matte at Prada and Missoni, gave lips a hint of juicy shine with MAC Lipglass in Clear.
