9 Must-Haves from Celebrity Makeup Artist Fiona Stiles

Raise your hand if you love Halle Berry.

I've got 10 fingers high in the air right now.

What's not to love? She's ridiculously stylish, drop-dead gorgeous, and oh yeah, an Oscar-winner to boot. Men want to marry her and women want to be her.

I've been trying to mimic her ageless skin, iconic haircut, and flawless makeup since I saw "Boomerang." So when I got the chance to chat with her longtime makeup artist, Fiona Stiles, I was downright giddy. I mean, Fiona has been Halle's secret weapon for years -- and I couldn't wait to get the inside scoop on the stuff she uses on my celebrity girl crush.

Luckily for me, Fiona doesn't need a suitcase full of goodies to make Halle and her other celebrity clientele red carpet ready. She told me she uses these 9 must-haves.

Can't believe her magic comes from only a small stash of makeup? You will when you see her picks. Check out the drugstore staples and high-end splurges Stiles can't live without.

By Terry Baume de Rose, $60

When it comes to lip balm, Stiles is a connoisseur. So it's no wonder that her favorite is this pink, rose-scented splurge. "Lip balm is my desert-island item -- the one thing I would take with me anywhere," says Stiles. "I love this product."

EcoTools Bamboo 6 Piece Brush Set, $12.99

Of course Stiles uses a zillion brushes when she's working on clients, but for the rest of us she recommends these. You get just the essentials -- powder, concealer, shadow, eyeliner, and a comb-brush duo -- and while they're eco-friendly and affordable, they're just as good as the best makeup brushes on the market. "This is everything you need on the go," says Stiles. "Plus, the set comes in its own cute cotton and hemp case so your brushes stay clean -- so important!"

Anastasia Brow Gel, $21

If Stiles were to use just one makeup product in the morning, this would be it. "I always set my brows," she says. "This gel never flakes, and it keeps your brows in place all day."

Beautyblender Sponge, $19.99

While lots of makeup artists use sponges, Stiles is dedicated to this one. "It allows you to apply your foundation flawlessly, thinning it out where you need less and leaving more coverage in spots that need camouflaging," she says. "It lasts forever and it's really adorable to boot!"

Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage, $28

Stiles says this one's a cult-favorite for good reason. "You want a dry concealer that really sticks to whatever you're covering," she explains. Plus, having two colors lets you blend them for a perfect match.

Tweezerman Tweezers, $22

Stiles calls these the "Cadillac of Tweezers" and keeps two on hand at all times -- this way when she sends one out for sharpening (which Tweezerman does for free), she has a backup. Need more evidence that these are the best tweezers out there? Tweezerman also has a 9.5 rating on TotalBeauty.com.

Stila Convertible Color, $25

Since Stiles lugs around a ton of products when she's working, she prefers to streamline her personal makeup bag. "I like products that do double duty," she says. And this is her favorite multitasker. She uses it as both a blush and a lipstick.

Kevyn Aucoin Beauty Eyelash Curler, $20

Your search for the best eyelash curler ends here. (And if you don't think you need to curl your lashes at all, this tool will change your mind -- it works that well.) "Nothing wakes your eyes up faster," says Stiles . "And I love the red rubber on this one -- it's very chic."
