The Coolest Disney Villain Makeup Tutorial for Halloween

As a child, I was fascinated by all the female Disney villains. I always wanted to know more about them. Why did they become mean? What were they like as children? These things would go through my mind as they made their appearances and caused havoc on the lives of the seemingly good characters. One my favorites was Maleficent, the wicked dark fairy in Disney's 1959 film Sleeping Beauty. She was elegant and the darkest of all female Disney villains. Believe it or not, I'm not a big Halloween person. My son loves it, so I revolve the day around him and his activities. Once in a blue moon, I'll dress up. This time around, I thought I would just go for it and try out a villain look. I approached painting my face like I would a portrait and found that painting on a canvas is definitely more my thing. It can be quite challenging to be perfect when you're painting your face with a certain vision in mind. But the transformation is certainly a lot of fun, and now I feel inspired to try out a few more villains! If you attempt this look, give yourself plenty of time to work on it. Take your time and have fun with it. Here's my version of the Mistress of All Evil: Disney Villain Maleficent. -By Rachel Matos
