Drop that lipstick. This fall's hottest makeup look seems to be no makeup at all. Fashion's coolest girls are ditching their makeup kits in favor of the new natural, defined by bold brows and dewy skin.

This perfectly of-the-moment look is fittingly best displayed on 23-year-old Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence in Dior’s just-released fall ad campaign. The combination of the always-amazing-looking Lawrence and barely there maquillage created a viral sensation the moment the photos hit the Web, thanks to the way she manages the tricky balance of looking both natural and sophisticated. With hair tousled and windblown, her fresh-faced beauty is enhanced by, well, nothing at all.
Or at least the appearance of nothing at all. But let's be real here — the “no makeup” look often involves quite a bit of makeup.

The key ingredients, according to Dior makeup pro Ricky Wilson, are creamy textures, neutral tones, and strong arches. “Think clean skin, bold brows, and a muted pout.”
The low-key look is also being sported by Kim Kardashian 2.0, who revealed her engagement ring in a surprisingly bare-faced snapshot.
“The look is totally on trend,” Wilson tells Yahoo Shine. “It's neutral yet makes a statement, so it's not boring.”
How do you achieve such invisible perfection? Follow these guidelines, for starters.
Get a good BB cream: These multitaskers even out skin tone and give you that bright, flattering J.Law-style glow.
Focus on brows: If 2013 has taught us anything, it's that strong, thick brows are back. Brings to mind the fresh-faced natural beauty of young Brooke Shields and model-of-the-moment Cara Delevigne. “This look is all about sculpted brows,” says Wilson. “Add shape and definition to them, and they really lift the eyes.”
Skip the blush: “It has a bit of a '90s inspiration with the monochromatic tones and the absence of a heavy blush. I love how the neutral shadow tones are back," he adds. "Not just taupe, but warmer tones like coppers and warm chocolate tones, which flatter any skin tone."
