Did anyone else have a momentary freak out with Jennifer Lawrence chopped off all her hair? I definitely did. But after seeing her at the Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiere at Le Grand Rex in Paris, I am a full-on believer in her drastic new look. Particularly at this premiere, right? Her look hits all the right notes between vampy and glam, and there are three things that you can do right now (or later, for a night out!) to pull off a similar style. One thing we can't promise in our tutorial? How to snag a diamond-encrusted ear cuff. We'll let you guys decide on the jewels slash accessorizing for yourselves.

What juxtaposes her dark, almost heavy makeup is her honey blond hair -- and those new signature side-swept bangs. If you want to do the JLaw, SELF's own beauty editors, April and Kate, recommend 'em as a great starting point for pulling off the latest iteration of JLaw -- plus, they're easy to grow out, and even easier to hide or pin away. If you're going the scissor route, you can literally bring this pic in and ask your stylist to copy the look. If you've already got the fringe, style by blow-drying bangs with a medium-size round brush, pulling hair from under to the side, down toward your face and then your ear. Finger comb to tousle. And if you've got any nasty little flyaways, spritz a mascara brush with hairspray and brush through any of those babies.

Second key? Those super-on-trend wine lips, one of the season's biggest beauty trends. Generally, we'd recommend keeping eyes and face more subtle with a bold pout, but we're kinda digging this goth-style thing JLaw's got going on -- at least for any nighttime adventures. It's important to play with different shades before you choose your exact lip color. Bonus tip? After applying, dip a Q-tip in makeup remover and run around the outside of your mouth to ensure a flawless application. Easy, right?

Finish off your JLaw-like look by rimming lids with a waterproof kohl-style pencil eyeliner. Not only are these the easiest to trace around your peepers, but they'll also last the longest. Flick out at the edges for a kitty-eye feel. Currently, I still can't stop obsessing over Benefit's Bad Gal Waterproof Eyeliner: The pencil is thick enough to look like a liquid, but gives you the precision you'd need with a fine tip. Plus, there's a smudge tip to erase mistakes and soften where needed.

And just like that, you're catching fire, girl.
