The Carrie remake starring Chloe Moretz hits theaters nationwide on October 18, but between the premieres and impromptu coffee shop pranks by the crew, the film is already making quite the buzz. At the screening in Hollywood last night, Moretz coordinated the deep tones of her Valentino gown with her studded nail art, and we loved the look so much, we tracked down the exact products she used! "Chloe wanted an Earth-toned polish and this color jumped out at us right away," said her manicurist Christina Aviles, who used Sephora's Formula X lacquer in Perfection. "It's a darker taupe that looks great on any skin tone, and was just a beautiful complement to the colors in her gown. We added the studs to enhance her chic and sophisticated look." After layering on the base coat, color, and two swipes of clear top coat, Aviles applied the black studs to each nail by pressing the 3D element into the slightly wet lacquer in lieu of nail glue. Pick up the Formula X polish in Perfection for $11 at sephora.com!
