You could say that the Old Hollywood look has returned, but honestly did it ever leave? We have always been channeling the late Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. Who else could look quite so glamorous and effortless at the same time? For Vanity Fair's July issue, hairstylist Oribe created that timeless look on the new It Girl Elizabeth Banks. Step 1: Prep dry hair with Oribe Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray ($42, Bluemercury.com), and set 1 ½ inches of hair with a large-barrel curling iron. Pin curls and let them cool.

Step 2: Remove the pins and piece out the curls with Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Cream ($49, Bergdorfgoodman.com) to add the separation and shine.

Step 3: Finish with Oribe Imperméable Anti-Humidity Spray ($38, Bigelowchemists.com) for light hold and humidity protection.

Step 4: If you want to add a little more texture, separate the strands with Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray ($19.50, Bluemercury.com), then use Oribe Aprés Beach Wave and Shine Spray ($35, Bluemercury.com) to add more texture and shine. "The look is soft," Oribe said. "It's not a structured hairdo."

Are you loving this look, or has the Marilyn look been killed with overload this year?
