These Mermaid-Inspired Perfumes Will Inspire You to Channel Your Inner Siren

Blame it on the warmer weather, our anticipation for a beach getaway, or therecent newsof Sofia Coppola directing a live-action version ofThe Little Mermaid, but this week, we've certainly been taking style inspiration from everyone's favorite mythical sea creatures. Not unlike Ariel from the Disney classic, two mermaid-inspired fragrances hit all the right notes, and prove to be just as enchanting as the sirens' song.

Mermaid's Kiss by A Beautiful Life ($52; abeautifullife.com) starts out strong with a bold Jamaican lime note, and after a few minutes, fruity-floral elements like pineapple, bamboo lily, and pink lotus start to come through. The rum-scented base is reminiscent of a cool, tropical cocktail, and we especially love how the tiny pebbles inside of the bottle add to the seaside vibe. And Mermaid No. 1 ($50; mermaidperfume.com) is a clean, light floral scent, which is based around orange-blossom flower notes, with aquatic hints blended into the mix.

We can't decide which fragrance we like best, but both bottles look great among the gadgets and gizmos a-plenty scattered on our vanity, and add the perfect complement to the mermaid metallic trend that's ripe for spring.
