Now that's it's like, um, "fur" weather outside, we're officially over bright tips. (Sorry to those of you who love neon, but you need to move on.) For fall, I'm feeling deep jewel tones and wintry metallics -- colors so glam you'd wear them not just on your nails, but as like jewelry, too. One of my favorite salons -- Ten Over Ten -- which is like the epitome of cool, has rolled out a trio of fall shades that are like my Holy Trinity of nail polish. Seriously.

Hunter green is THE shade for fall, which is why I'm loving Pine (center), and can't get enough of the subtle shimmer that's only reflective if you look reallllly closely. Maiden, a deep purple that looks exactly like eggplant skin (left) is officially my new toe polish. (What Chanel Vamp?) And then there's Wall Street, a shimmery, moonlit gray that reminds me of the neighborhood after everyone has gone home for the night: eerie and beautiful.

You can use each polish on its own, but I really love the combination of Maiden and Wall Street for a half-moon mani, since Wall Street is only, like, THE perfect moon. To do, start by polishing the perfect mani using Maiden, and let dry completely. Next, pop reenforcement stickers at the base of each nail -- you know, those things you used for your binders in class -- and fill in the moon shape with Wall Street. Once it's mostly dry, carefully peel off the stickers, and voila -- the chicest fall mani in the chicest salon's newest shades.
