If you've ever spilled coffee all over your outfit on the way to work, devoured a tuna sandwich right before a big presentation or caught a cold from a contagious cubicle mate, then you understand the importance of a well-stocked desk drawer.

Thanks to unfortunate experiences like these, I've amassed a solid stash of items essential for workday survival. I've got gum, disinfectant spray, aspirin, stain remover, plastic utensils, snacks and all of the above life-saving beauty products at the ready at all times. But shhh! Don't tell my co-workers…I'm not sharing!
