Reese Witherspoon Makes Shimmery Undereyes Work, Possibly Has Magical Powers

But Reese Witherspoon is not most women, it seems, 'cause the lady certainly wore the look to the The Devil's Knot premiere at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival and pulled it off like a champ.

What's keeping her from looking undead: Sure, she's got taupe shimmer right under her lash line, but the sparkly shade underneath is actually an almost-white silvery shade that brightens the shadows in that part of her face up. What makeup artist Mai Quynh used on her bottom lids: Laura Mercier Illuminating Eye Colour in Fire Glow and and Caviar Stick Eye Colour.

It's not an easy move (and certainly not one I'll be trying myself any time soon), so I've got to give Mai (and Reese!) for making such a difficult-to-manuveur thing work. Would you cosign that?
