Sticker Makeup Is a Thing

All that time you spend making yourself beautiful every morning sure does add up. According to a study conducted by a London makeup clinic, the average woman spends more than a year and three months of her life. applying makeup. The most time-consuming parts? Eyeshadow application, putting on eyeliner, and grooming the eyebrows. But what if all of that time could be cut in half by just applying a sticker? Some beauty brands have launched adhesive-style makeup to help women to beautify themselves quickly. Not since the days of scratch-n-sniff have stickers been so much fun. Skip your traditional makeup application and save time by giving these sticker looks a try.

1. Eyeshadow
In a perfect world, it would be a cinch to create an amazing smoky eye. But, sometimes that just isn't possible. That's where those nifty eyeshadow stickers come in. Available in a plethora of color combinations, it's not difficult to find a likable shade or pattern. (Leopard, anyone?) To apply, prep the eyelid first by using a primer. The stickers usually come shaped like an eyelid, so simply place on and gently rub for about 20 seconds before peeling off to reveal an instant eyeshadow look.

2. Eyelashes
While wearing lots of mascara is fine and dandy, an easy way to make your eyes pop is by applying a set of artificial lashes. The traditional versions can require gobs of eyelash glue, but you can avoid that headache by using the lashes that already come pre-peeped with adhesive for an easier application. Before applying the lashes, make sure they are not too wide for your eye by holding the lash strip up to your eyelid. Use scissors to trim down the sides, if necessary. Place the strip on your eyelid, making sure that it's as close as possible to the lashes. Once the strip is in place, gently pat down with your finger. MAC 3 Lash, $16, maccosmetics.com
