Happy Halloween!!! Did it sneak up on you, too? [Ed. note: I didn't even remember it was Halloween till I saw a KISS-faced rocker on the 4 train. - RJ] Well, if you slacked on getting a costume, you don't have to sprint out of work and spend an hour fighting off other last-minute shoppers at American Apparel (though this year's Halloween Lookbook is crazy adorable) or Party City. Instead, you just need to grab your makeup bag and get going on some of these easy-but-impressive mostly-makeup costumes.

* My favorite last-minute option is to gussy up like Anne Hathaway as Cat Woman from The Dark Night Rises. Rock black spandex (like you need an excuse to rock head-to-toe Lulu, anyway), pull hair into a half pony and use a kohl eyeliner pencil to draw a cat mask on your face. Finish with red lipstick and you're good to go. Also sexy, but like, not tried-to-hard sexy at all.

* An easy option for blondes? 1960s model and beauty icon Twiggy. Just apply seriously lush faux lashes, apply a layer of frosted pink lipstick, wear a white, mod-ish dress and make Zoolander-style faces all night.

* Get glitzy -- and celebrate glam rock -- by grabbing some some sparkly red and blue eyeshadow, black eyeliner and bronzer to emulate Ziggy Stardust. (Please, please tweet me pics if you do!)

* If you've got some time to spare -- and your as big a makeup hoarder as I am -- you probably have everything you need to play doe, thanks to this sweet-ass tutorial for deer makeup from Cheap Frills and Thrills. All you need is some brown clothes and a twig or two from outside plus her sage advice.

* Finally, the more creative among us could get inspired by Lady Gaga's album cover for Applause, though you'll probs need to swing by the drugstore and get one of those all-encompassing Halloween-makeup palettes. Just make sure you wash it off really well -- and for that matter, all your makeup too. Try some of our favorite face wipes if you're really tired (or drunk). #NoJudgment.
