Time-Saving Product Must: Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer

Save some time with Vaseline's new moisturizing sprayLet's face it, on weekday mornings, when you're rushing to get the kids off to school and to work on time, every second counts. And if, like me, you often skip body lotion, because you just can't wait the few minutes it takes for it to be absorbed into your skin before getting dressed, I have good news for you. Brand new Vaseline Spray & Go ($8 at drugstores) delivers on its promise to "moisturize in seconds so you can put your clothes right on".

As I definitely liked the soft and smooth feeling Vaseline Spray & Go left on my skin and the fact that its aerosol simply uses compressed air and no harmful VOC's, I decided to put it through a mini scientific test on myself here in the Beauty Lab.

After taking baseline hydration measurements with our Corneometer probe on each of my forearms, I sprayed on the Vaseline Spray & Go and spread it over my skin.

When my arms stopped feeling tacky, which took about 30 seconds; I took another set of 15 hydration measurements on each forearm. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the moisture in my skin had surged by 60%. Therefore, based on a study of one subject, I'm happy to report that Vaseline Spray & Go's really "moisturizes in seconds so you can put your clothes right on".

Though I loved the hydration and smoothing results of the lotion, I have to say I wasn't crazy about the "cocoa radiant" scent I tried and am really hoping to get a hold of the "aloe fresh" and "total moisture" varieties. If they have a smell I like, I think I've found my new body lotion. To find out which anti-aging body lotions work please visit our website.
