Kentucky Fried Chicken may be based in the Louisville, K.Y., but this fast-food chain has an immense global presence. For example, the chain was recently named the most powerful international brand in China (even over McDonald's and Coca-Cola) in a two-year survey that included 60,000 participants.

Massive brands like McDonald's and KFC are different in the menus they offer, but are similar in that they have found a way to use unique marketing strategies that are tailored to specific regions. For example, they implement colloquialisms like "wicked" and "fancy" in London and serve traditional Singaporean porridge with their original chicken in Singapore.

Though menu items at KFC in the United States can also vary by location, it appears as though international outlets have a wide range of different selections that are determined by the general tastes of a certain culture. There are Ramadan specials in KFC Arabia, as well as fried veg sticks in India. They've even incorporated other American brands like Krispy Kreme into some of their combo meals in KFC Arabia (and we not-so-secretly wish that they would do this in the US)!

Denmark

In Denmark, KFC fans can order of the 'Indian Twister Menu,' which contains Indian inspired menu items like a chicken wrap with curry sauce and jalapeños or black pepper potatoes. For dessert, you can order a hot vanilla tart.

Singapore

At KFC in Singapore, not only can you get a 'Rosata Twister (an egg wrapwith cheese, vegetables, and chicken, waffles, or pancakes) in the morning, but you can also get cheese fries. Their breakfast menu continues with a porridge, which they claim is a local favorite. For lunch, Singaporeans can order a chicken and rice combo with a special sauce.

India

Indian fast-food chains are known for having vegetarian options. At KFC in India, you can order a 'Potato Krisper,' or a sandwich that is made up of a potato patty and served with tangy sauce in a bun. You can also get veg strips, which are fried vegetable sticks that come with a spicy sauce. It doesn't end there: Indian KFC also has a 'Veg Zinger,' or a brownie sundae, for dessert.

Germany

In Germany, you can also order off of the 'Indian Zinger Menu' like you can in Denmark. But unlike Denmark, you can order Ben & Jerry's ice cream for dessert!

China

KFC is China's most powerful international brand, and with regional menu items like a fried 'Shirmp Burger' and 'Double Sichuan Spicy Chicken Burger,' there's more variety on the menu than with many other franchises. Other unique menu items include a curry pork chop with rice, and an Italian vegetable chicken and rice plate.
