1. Crock Pot Applesauce

Two ingredients and a crock pot {or slow cooker depending on where you are from} are all you need to make deliciously good for you applesauce! My kids love it when I make it for them and I love that they love it and ask for seconds and thirds. Not to mention it gets bonus points for how incredibly good the house smells while it's cooking away. I use a combination of apples, feel free to use the apples of your choice. You can also add in spices to change things up.

Ingredients:

8-10 apples - peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon - optional

Directions:

1. Place apples into crock pot, cover with water. Set on low. Cook covered for 6-8 hours until apples have softened. Stir occasionally to break up the apples.

NOTE: If you prefer your apples smooth then you may use an immersion blender or blender to achieve this consistency.
