All I Want for Valentine's Day: KitchenAid's Red-Hot Reissue

The KitchenAid mixer stands alone as a beloved cook's tool that is equal parts workhorse and culinary icon. It is beloved by bakers (it kneads, mixes, and mashes), pasta fanatics (it can roll fresh noodles), carnivores (it grinds meat and stuffs sausages), and design freaks (it looks awesome).

To mark the mixer's 90th anniversary, KitchenAid has released a limited edition in candy apple red with a sturdy glass bowl that harks back to earlier models. Not only is the glass bowl a retro-cool statement, but it's also practical: Unlike the metal bowl, the glass version allows you to read the measurements from the outside.
