Taurus (April 20 - May 20) Give yourself the tools to be successful as you revamp your meals for the better. Don't have snack foods in the house. Make a point of buying fresh vegetables and fruits and having them trimmed and ready for cooking. Frozen works too.
Gemini (May 21 - June 21) Dig deep into your freezer and cupboards today -- bring whatever's in the back to the front. You might discover something delightful, like a container of pomegranate syrup (how delicious!), or several items that can be recycled/disposed of (what a relief!).
Cancer (June 22 - July 22) Something unusual catches your eye today -- a bunch of wild purple cauliflower or the cool jade color of green bamboo rice. You buy it, but you're unsure of how to cook it or afraid of messing it up. Do some research, then experiment with a small batch first.
Leo (July 23 - August 22) Instead of following a complicated recipe, why not try making a 'stuff I found in the fridge' dish for dinner tonight? Chances are you have vegetables, starch, grains and proteins all on hand. It's cheap and nutritious!
Virgo (August 23 - September 22) So maybe your attempt to learn how to make a steamed pudding ended with the lid (and part of the pudding) flying off the pot and hitting the ceiling. It makes for a great story, and now you know how not to make a steamed pudding.
Libra (September 23 - October 22) Whatever you do today, keep a new piece of information to yourself. If a food co-op or a hot new restaurant is about to open up in your neighborhood, you don't want to spread the word and possibly put the kibosh on the whole situation by rumormongering.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 21) So many demands, so little time! If you're eating on the run or unable to cook as much as you'd like, make sure to buy some healthy pre-packaged foods like salads, trail mix and single servings of yogurt.
Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21) Feel like your healthy cooking goals have gotten off track? It's time to concentrate your energies on getting back on the right path. Sit down with yourself and think about which achievements are realistic and which might take more time.
