The Best of Thanksgiving Dinner, Served on Sourdough

The day after Thanksgiving, my fridge is stuffed to the brim with deliciousness from the night before. That's when I bust-out all the leftovers to create dishes like this turkey sandwich with brie and cranberry sauce. It's like enjoying the best dishes all over again, and everyone can appreciate the ease of putting this sandwich together.

Ingredients

2 slices sourdough sandwich bread
3 slices oven-roasted turkey
2 tablespoons cranberry sauce
1 piece butter lettuce
1 slice brie
salt and pepper

Directions

1. Toast sourdough in the toaster until lightly golden, if desired.

2. Lay turkey on one slice of bread. Next, add cranberry sauce on top of turkey, spread until even, and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper. Top with lettuce.

3. With a knife, spread the brie on the remaining slice of bread. Place the bread cheese side down on top of the letuce. Serve.
