This Candy Cane Dip Puts All Others to Shame

I love the flavor of candy canes (I look forward to peppermint ice cream all year long), so this dip is right up my alley! It's perfect for serving at a party or just as a fun afternoon snack with the kids. I really like that it's not overly sweet and pairs well with all sorts of fruits or crackers. It was also a great way to use up the broken candy canes I ended up with after my toddler got a hold of the box.

Directions

1. In a food processor, grind the two candy canes until they are the size of small gravel (alternatively, place them in a plastic bag and smash with a rolling pin). Set aside.

2. In the bowl of a stand mixer or with hand beaters, beat the whipping cream and sugar until soft peaks form. Whisk in the cream cheese and yogurt until smooth, then stir in the crushed candy canes. Pour into a serving bowl and top with additional crushed candy canes if desired.

3. Serve with fruit, pretzels, graham crackers, or cookies.
