Make a low-budget, high-style New Year's Eve party for about $10 per person! It's all about making the little luxuries go a long way: a spoonful of caviar, a sprinkling of truffle salt, a rich chocolate mousse. Plus, you can set the table with inexpensive decorations, using stuff you can easily pick up if you don't already have it on hand.

SET THE SCENE

Bloom Service


Place a pot of inexpensive white poinsettias or white carnations in a glass vase, and surround with kosher salt to keep the flowers steady.

Bright Idea
 Spray-paint the leaves of pineapple tops silver, and place a tea light in the center.


Silver Belles
 Fill small bowls with silver Jordan almonds, M&Ms and Hershey's Kisses.
