One-Pot Dinners to Keep All the Other Meals This Week Simple

Right now, your refrigerator is probably about to burst with Thanksgiving fixings, and, if you're anything like us, you're really looking forward to turkey and dressing (and mashed potatoes and green bean casserole and pie, yougettheidea). But there are still a few meals left before the big day, and even after, you may have a house of guests to continue to feed. Never fear! The Shine Supper Club is here to keep dinner easy and your kitchen (relatively) clean with these one-pot meals. Share yours and you could win this swanky Dansk casserole from Crate and Barrel! Here's how:

1. Write a blog post, on Shine or elsewhere, telling us about your favorite one-pot meal by Sunday 11:59PM PST, November 25th. Be sure to include a photo and a recipe.
2. Mention and link to the Shine Supper Club in your post: http://shine.yahoo.com/supper-club/
3. Tweet @YahooShine with a link to your post and include the hashtag #shinesupperclub. Aren't on Twitter? Email the link to shine_sarahmccoll@yahoo.com. We will compile the links for all participants to include in their posts so all Supper Club members can share in the link love.
4. The community will vote on the winning recipe to be featured on the Shine homepage and added to our winner's circle!

Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom writes, "I love that I was able to toss the ingredients in the crock pot and have a hot meal at dinner time! This Mexican inspired Chicken Chowder was super filling and we had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day." We love that, too.

Perhaps you can identify with So says Sarah who writes, "There's nothing like a dinner that makes the whole family happy, which is harder to pull off than you might think. My tot isn't excited about this or the husband isn't in the mood for that. So the other night, when I tossed together this seriously simple dinner, I was amazed when everyone asked for seconds - and thirds."

Spice Box Travels writes a beautifully humbling post about her time spent working in the San Francisco General Hospital and the simple, sustaining lunch they served on Saturdays. "I've noticed the most generous people I've encountered have often been the poorest materially."
